Shipping policy

Order Fulfillment

We strive to fulfill orders once each week, with shipments typically leaving by Thursday evening. Please note I do not work Sunday and if you place a digital order, I have to manually fulfill Monday. If you are international, your Monday might be my Sunday. :)

Some products are handmade or built to order. These items will generally be identified with a pre-order or crafting delay on the product page and may require additional time before shipment.

If you have any questions about lead times or need an item by a specific date, please don’t hesitate to contact us before placing your order—or at any time afterward. We’re always happy to help.

International Shipping

International shipping from the United States is expensive.

Our products ship from the USA. We are not shipping from China, and unfortunately the United States does not subsidize small-package international shipping like some countries.

We use reliable international services such as USPS Priority Mail International because they provide tracking, reasonable transit times, and better support if something goes wrong. The shipping price shown at checkout is the carrier price + packaging + broker fees.

There are sometimes cheaper international shipping options available, but in our experience they have caused more problems than they solved. We have seen month-long transit times, poor or missing tracking, lost packages, zero insurance, and surprise customs or brokerage charges. To avoid unnecessary stress for customers, we generally do not offer those services.

Customers are welcome to provide their own shipping label. If you would like to use your own carrier or shipping service, please contact us and we can provide the ship-from address and package details.

Another option is to use a freight forwarding service. This can be helpful if you are buying multiple items from the United States, since some forwarders can combine packages and ship them together internationally.

Import duties, VAT, taxes, brokerage fees, and customs charges are not included in NFC shipping prices unless explicitly stated. These fees are determined by your country and are the responsibility of the recipient.

We know international shipping can be frustrating, and we truly appreciate the patience and understanding of our customers around the world.

European Union Customers

After more than 12 years of proudly serving customers throughout the European Union, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue direct sales and shipping of physical products to EU member states.

This decision was not made lightly. Increasing regulatory compliance requirements have reached a point where they are no longer practical for a micro business like NFC to support.

Customers within the EU may still purchase NFC products using a US-based freight forwarding service. Many customers have successfully used these services in the past. Alternatively, if you have friends or family in a neighboring non-EU country, that may also be a convenient option.

To all of our EU customers: thank you for your incredible support over the years. This isn't a breakup! Just have to get creative with how product gets to you! <3
